Olympic Gym, San Antonio, TX

A fine institution! It may also be called "Original Gym" now, it's not clear to me. Regardless, they have fine equipment for powerlifting and oly training, chalk, everything you need. $5 to drop in. I've been twice, and there shall be more visits.

Life Time Fitness, Katy, TX

A very general gym that also has many platforms (6 I think) and racks. Most of the people in them were squatting high and whatnot, but there were a few serious guys and gals while I was there doing impressive workouts. It's not the sort of place where you can openly chalk, but you could probably sneak some in. Drag a bench into a rack and you have a safety bench, but they don't have safties on the benches. Also, GHR! Yelp review here. I believe a day pass cost me $25.
